I think the photographers are bored .. The probably think these things add "interest" to the pics.. The sad thing is that to the "faithful zealots", these are seen as "from god".:scared:

4. I believe it's called "cropping"...

It's amazing what you can come up with unintentionally in a large shot. Crop ther "interesting" part, and it looks like a planned shot.

...of course, some of them ARE planned, too.
