What's going on with Outlook Express 6?

I have a subscription to Norton anti-virus and everything Norton updates, it kills my connection to OE6. In order to keep it running I have to restore the system to a previous setting.

Anybody else having this problem?

1. AAARRRGGGH! Yes, we have that problem.

It drives me friggin'nuts.
It should be a law that name and phonenumber of the designer is included in the packaging.
I'd love to talk to the person about system integration.

Till then use Netscape. And even then use Netscape.

3. It's a secure connection thing

I got it too, I think it has more to do with the ISP you use than with Outlook itself. You can try just disabling Norton (right-click on the icon in the system tray and select "Disable"). Or, if worst comes to worst, you will have to completely take it off, like I did.

I would contact whoever is in charge of your server administration and ask them about it.

6. I fix Computers for a living and Norton has

brought me more money than anything else.
I absolutly loathe Norton for myself.
I believe it's the worst bag of bloat-ware garbage that has every been put on a computer.
I see more systems screwed up with Norton than I see systems screwed up with viruses.. :)
