Hey, Ho, Let's Go! (Ramones = Corporate Themesong)
Yup, it's another Oh my god I can't believe they're using that song for a COMMERCIAL! thread.

So, okay, I've basically been off the TV grid for about 5 months or so. Well, more like 8. But anyway, I just reconnected my TV to the cable (I pay RCN for the cable modem, but I have to get the TV along with) because--SOLELY because--of The Daily Show<. So I'm watching said TDS, and lo, a commercial comes on for ATT Wireless and they have the temerity, the unmitigated GALL, the abhorent, godforsaken, heartsickening, cortex-eradicating GALL to use Hey Ho Lets Go by the Ramones to sell their filthy cell phones.[br />
Can there be anyone who loves the Ramones who wouldn't rather throw their TeeVee across the ROOM, or feed their phone to the DOG, or flush it down the TOILET rather than buy one of these assholes' wireless phone deals?

I mean, SHIT!

Hey all you teens, or used-ta-be-teens, we're HIP!

KILL 'em, sez I.

2. Yeah, whoever gave permission to use
"Bltzkrieg Bop" as a commercial theme song is obviously F'd in the head... I hope none of the remaining Ramones were, else I'll be bumming if I know.

3. First 'Lust For Life'
Then the Buzzcocks on a car commercial, now The Ramones!

It's either rampant commercialism, or a sign you're getting old!

4. What? The Ramones have sold out? How COULD they!!
How dare they try to make money off their songs years after waning in popularity! I'm going to burn all of my Ramones CD's and listen to non-sellout punk bands from now on, like Blink 182, Sum 41, and Green Day. </sarcasm>

Long live NOFX!
