also, Knoppix kicks ass. I had it installed on my laptop for a while, before going back to Mandrake only because that's what I've got running on my Desktop PC. It makes maintenance easier when both my computers are running the same OS.

Now if I could just get my wife to give up XP, it truely would be a wonderful world.

3. knoppix bites my ass!

If I can't install it to the HD and use it, it's worthless. Knoppix 3.3 HD install didn't treat me kindly (although it remains a fantastic rescue tool/play-around toy). Back to Libranet.

I use a Brazilian Knoppix derivative called Kurumin, which I installed in the HD without a problem. Gotta test Knoppix after I wget it all (tomorrow).
