9. I WANT SNOW!!!
I just moved to Georgia from DC. 50° every day here. Were I still in DC I would have got to leave work early yesterday! I could have taken today off too!
The snowstorm that came through last February was great for that. Snow days are rare as an adult, and you have to enjoy them when they come...

10. It's at my little house on the prairie
Every time they say "1 to 2 inches" we get buried! Running out of space to pile it.

Haven't had real serious winter around here in 10 years or so. Seems to have made a comeback.

Problem is, I don't think they are getting this stuff in the mountains to the west, where we need snowpack to fill resivours and get rivers running full again.

Anyway, glad I have long legs as it supposed to blow and drift something awful today along with a -40 windchill. Who are they kidding? It's already a -38 windchill and the wind isn't cranked up yet.

Plenty of fuel and insulation for the house, big warm dog to snuggle, food in the larder, lots of sewing to do. Should be a nice day, in between shoveling forays. Snow here is not as wet as in other places. At my age, am glad it is not the heavy stuff like in the east!
