Don't answer that. Here in Cola SC, we've been having fun with a colossal ice storm. One or two hundred thousand people had their power out so we felt we dodged the bullet pretty well when we just lost our phone lines and cable. (Girlfriend lost power but her heat still works, so staying with her is like very comfortable camping). Anyway, I'm glad to be back and feel a bad 70s-80s music poll coming on.

PS I take it it's still too scary to go into the GD Primaries forum?

Do people in colder climates BURY THE FRIGGIN' POWER LINES to avoid situations like this? I mean, you'd think after going through this once or twice a year every year (yeah, I know, boo hoo) the power companies would get a clue. But then, there's so many things you can say that about.

Anyway, it was just a pain in the butt and I appreciate and am grateful for not having to face the kind of weather you guys get all winter every winter.

I hate it when the electricity goes off. The next day we have a gazillion candles to clean up after because some of them inevitably drip.

I was in the primaries forum today, briefly. It wasn't too bad. And usually I don't get a response. But one today was actually pleasant.
