17. A few years ago
I got assigned to do a trade (farm) show in Alexandria, MN in January.

The battery in the company truck froze overnight. The low was something like -32 and we had a 25 mph wind. I feel for you guys...it's even tougher out there than it is in Wisconsin.

14. Summers here are pretty nice.
Usually in the 80's and 90's. For about 3 months anyway.

But it's almost ALWAYS windy here.

10. Good question...
Haven't figured that out quite yet.

Although, weather this cold can be almost euphoric at times. I geared up and went for a walk across town last night, and it was quite beautiful. Things seem so much more serene when everything's too cold to move.

Then my nostrils froze together.

4. I'm on the other side of the Red River.
It is ASS COLD. And it's supposed to be ass cold for quite a while. As in highs below zero for at least another week.

I thought about getting some longjohns a couple of months ago but I didn't. Kinda wishing I had.

11. That would feel warm right now.
50 degrees warmer. Isn't that sick?

Yesterday the "high" was about -25. Someone at work opened up a window and dumped out a cup of water. It froze instantly.

7. Whew! It's a balmy -14 here in Minneapolis!
I thought the CD player in my car was broken because the CDs kept skipping. Then I realized it only happens when it's really cold. I left my CDs in the car overnight and they are contracting because of the temperature.

13. Too cold to be f*cking.
It's a bitter cold at 58 degrees here... we had over a 1/4 inch of rain last night, too... but the high should be in the high 60's, so it's not too bad...

18. Present temperature here is 70 and
it is sunny, light breeze is playing at my wind chimes. I can't imagine -30. Zero is plenty cold enough and temperatures below freezing are why I'm here. Extreme cold is "painful."
