1. My cat.
Pampered, spoiled, well-fed, no stress, no worries, no job, sleeps in comfortable places. A pretty good life.

43. Definitely a cat lover's cat.
If I can't come back and have me as live-in staff then I'd be happy owning another cat lover instead.

"If there's reincarnation, I want to come back as one of your pets". Of my pets, I'd choose the beagle, because she gets more outdoor time than the cats.

That said, I'd prefer not to be stalked and killed by one; though if I were to have to meet my demise at the paws of a wild animal, I'd rather it were by being eaten by a cougar (cats usually kill quickly by biting the neck and severing the spine) than, for example, by being torn apart by a pack of hyenas; crushed and swallowed by a boa constrictor; or sucked dry by a huge flock of vampire bats.

i would prefer not to be killed by one either, hehehe. I have heard that too...that they pounce from above, bite the neck and snap the spinal column. Efficient, silent, apex predators.....

11. Sea Otter
They always look as if they're having a blast, slipping, sliding and diving. Plus, I love seafood. It wouldn't have been a good choice in the past - when they were hunted for their fur - but these days they're protected.

Second choice would be a French Poodle. They're smart dogs, and I could enjoy being pedicured, brushed all over and blow-dried on a regular basis.

23. because they get eaten frequently by a predator
and humans are not used to thinking about being eaten by a predator. (how uncomfortable!) Most humans consume tons and tons of dead animal flesh over their lifetime, but get squeamish when any mention of a human is killed by a wild animal. We all have it coming....this is why I said it I would be honored if a cougar stalked and killed me. (better than wasting 6 feet under in a tomb)

That's where they lay you out to get eaten by vultures. No polluting crematorium or unsightly rotting: just clean, ecologically sound recycling.

Besides, Asian vultures are beautiful birds. Unfortunately, they're also endangered.

48. Well, the first thing I did was pull up a list a apex predators
Top of the food chain, baby!

I thought about an eagle or a hawk, but I just have a greater affinity for mammals. The whole live birth thing and nurturing their young for a year or two. So I guess I would have to bend genders and go with a female cougar.

Flying under your own power. Who wouldn't want that? Definately an Eagle...not some damn garbage eating pigeon, but a hunter with sharp eyes and the brains to catch prey.

Also, I read Eagles mate while in a freefall, that'd be cool too. :)
