8. It's amazing to think Anderson was only like 24 years old
when she began as Dana Scully.

I'm kind of embarrased to say I actually went to an Xfiles convention because she was sked to appear.

12. I got to meet Fox and Dana...
...during my days as an entertainment journalist in the '90s. I was a huge "X-Files" fan back then, but I interviewed them for their outside movie projects. In Gillian's case, it was for "House of Mirth," an adaptation of the Edith Wharton novel that was a truly great film not too many people saw-- and the best thing about it was her performance. Check it out on DVD. I was pleased (and somewhat surprised)to find myself even more enchanted with David and Gillian in person than their "X-Files" characters, whom I adored. Both actors were very smart, friendly, funny, and all-around impressive.

oh what EVER, I'm jealous. I haven't seen House of Mirth since like last century, I need to watch it again. Of course I mainly watched it because I was so crazy about Scully, she rocks :headbang:
