I just got a new used Mac G3. It's my first Mac.

Yeah, I know it's old and slow, but I've needed a Mac for some time now for edjumucational purposes. I repair computers, and it really sucks not knowing anything about Macs. So I bought this one for eighty bucks and am gonna start by wiping the hard drive and reinstalling EVERYTHING.

Should be fun.

7. I got it from a local independent repair shop

I've bought parts from him before, and he had this on hand. He offered it to me cheap- he probably needed the funds. I snapped it up before he changed his mind.

We got a Mac since my daughter's school uses them. Next thing my wife wanted a new Powerbook to teach her college course, then the ipods came, then my second daughter wanted one, then the first daughter wanted a Powerbook too, then the Airport wireless network came...

One little Mac and now the house is full of them.
