6. Yes, the gas station, but also the Dept of Transportation would put a |

dinger across our rural highway to count traffic. We youngsters had a theory that if we spent a great deal of time in the middle of the hwy jumping up and down, they would be forced to put a movie theater and a Dairy Queen right there, due to the high traffic in the area. Brilliant. It kept us busy.
