I feel for you loss. Not that much though, because I just got AC for the first time a couple week ago :)

2. I live in Atlanta

A/C has become a necessity. I lived down near the FL border when I was a kid. Our schools were not air condittioned. If this was then, I'd be ok because I'd be used to not having a/c during the hottest part of the day.

But now I have a dog, cat and husband who all sleep in the same bed with me, so I'm pretty miserable!
