My hubby thought we should teach the dogs to start the car
when it is cold out.
I said they would probably drive the car to the store for food and toys.
We then start talking about how dogs would shop. "I want that, and that, and 2 of those...."
And how would cats shop? "You are here to do my bidding, here's a list. Don't take too long."

1. Sure, go ahead and teach them...
But don't be surprised when they take off and don't come home for 3 weeks and have a wife and family in tow because they stopped in Vegas and got a quickie wedding and you weren't invited and see if you don't feel bad THEN!

2. here in Tiny Town, where it is cold and folks leave trucks running
a rather clever lab managed to get a running truck shifted into reverse. With the truck moving without his human driver, he got excited and started pounding on things again, and got it going in drive... slowly down the block.

A rather underspoken chap entered the drugstore and informed the truck's owner that the dog must've got tired of waiting as he appeared to be driving off down the street.

Good thing we don't have a lot of traffic in this one stop-light town where men are men and dogs are drivers.
