This is no longer news worthy. There are _always_ loud blasts heard in Bahgdad. How about we wait until we can announce "NO loud blasts in Bahgdad?"

I hope a few DUers got to watch it, the inuendos were endless.

It was a great ceremony, and afterwards, the commentator made direct reference to the fact that such ceremonies "are for all intensive purposes, banned from the public and the press in the United States".

Right after that was a press interview with MecLellan (our Vice Prime Minister) and Tom Ridge:

I think she did fine - and suprize, Ridge did the "dodge" thing, and even butted in to answer questions that were directed to Ms McLellan

I'm sure there will be reruns,(of both) they were on CBC (more detailed on CBC's NewsWorld), and it may not get too much coverage in the Amerikan Media (doh)
