3. According to someone I know, who worked in the Middle East for many years,
"Ishtar" was absolutely hilarious. "You just had to be able to get the jokes," he told me.

I myself LOVED the scene with Hoffman & Beatty lip-synching to a boom-box in a club (this was pre-karaoke, so it was really kinda weird), but don't remember a single other thing about the film.
