10. Rejecting Deficit Financing Is Not Conservative

That's not a conservative position. The reason is because it matter how one arrives at balance.

A conservative would cut back gov't scope and cost at lower taxes to achieve balance. A liberal would accept higher taxes to assure cash flow to pay for the programs.

The rejection of deficits is a neutral issue. Neither conservative nor liberal. The path in getting there is what makes the difference.

I don't like guns. I like my constitutional rights (I'm libertarian in that regard). I'm pro choice.

I have a problem with people saying their a fiscal conservative and social liberal. How can you fund all your liberal social programs if you aren't liberal with your spending?
