GO ROCKIES!
Am I the only one that's been rooting for them? I've seen plenty of threads on just about every other team in the playoffs, but nothing on Colorado's finest.

For the record, I basically root for all my hometown teams -- that is, any team from a city I've lived in for a while. And that means I cheer for the Dodgers, the Rockies, the Cardinals and the Marlins.

5. What? They've won the World Series twice in the last decade.
How many other teams can say that?

Now, mind you, I hate Marlins ownership with the white-hot fire of a thousand suns, but that doesn't mean I hate the team.

8. I lived in south Florida for the first. I walked up to the window and bought tickets...
for the NLCS and the WS. South Florida has the most pathetic fans I've seen.

9. I can't disagree.
I realize I'm one of the few. That said, the 2003 playoff run by the Marlins was the best I've ever seen. The series against the Giants should go down in history. Ivan Rodriguez.

3. At night? Not on DU.

I tend to be a strictly weekday, morning/afternoon DUer (i.e. while I'm goofing off at work). The rest of the time, I'm out doing stuff.

On edit: However, it is comforting to know that I'm not the only one rooting for the Rocks! :)

12. As an Angels fan, I'm pulling for the Rockies this year.
I see a lot of parallels between the 2002 Angels and the 2007 Rockies. And if anyone can beat Boston, it's Colorado.
