5. What do they sell for in Hawaii?
I love them and my neighbor grows them here in San Diego, but only gets a small quantity each year. And they are a bitch to crack - you have to cut each shell carefully with a special tool. The shell is hard as a rock.

9. Cheaper at Don Quijote (formerly Daiei)
just outside Waikiki, and right down the block from Hale O KamaAina. If they have 'em on special, there's usually a display right as you come in. And yes, "Don Quijote" is a Japanese company!

Longs is also worth a try; the touristy one is in Ala Moana Center.

I got mine at the store on Kuhio, across from the Ohana East hotel,
less then the ABC stores, but over half off from stores here.................:hi:
