5. They're not related...

HOINK was starving and freezing under a car out on the street at about 5 weeks old. That was about 3 years ago.

I got Aero as a kitten from a friend a year and a half ago.

I've been an animal lover all my life but, have only had dogs. All these gorgeous kitty pics make me want one.

Just wondering how Max will warm to the idea. He's a spoiled but very loving guy. I take him to my sister-in-law who has 4 dogs and 2 cats and he loves them all.

STOP! with the adorable kitty pics or won't be able to control myself ;)

36. Just to make you suffer:

Here is Oberon (8 month old silver mac tabby w/ white Maine Coon), Miro (15 year old "tuxedo cat") and Puck (3 month old Turkish angora).
Obviously, there is a slight size difference between the kittens


Puck is fearless, always enticing Obie to play (they sound like a herd of wildebeests in the morning)!

Even Oberon's "evil eye" doesn't daunt him!

Poor Obie!


BTW- I love dogs too. I wish I had a farm so I could have an entire mangerie! :-)

and it's fast - which is why I replaced my old fuji - it took way too long after clicking the shutter for the pic to get made.

I love this camera - I'd highly recommend it. It's fast, takes great pictures and is reasonably small.

The upper one (Pretzel) is unknown, it's a stray I but I suspect its something like a Tabby/Persian cross.

The lower one (Smokey) is a Russian Blue/Tabby cross.

43. Is Oberon a Minx?

I used to have a six toed cat we called "Suzie". Her kittens looked like they were Persian. Somebody picked her up one day, we still get calls if they have anymore of her kittens.

45. He's a Maine Coon

I've never heard of a Minx (maybe you have a picture?) I know Manx are tail less (probably not related). Obie is rather proud of his tail:

Maine Coons can grow to be quite large. This is Oberon's grandfather (I don't know who is holding him), and he is by no mean the biggest Maine Coon I've seen.


Here is one of Obie's younger siblings (who I think is still for sale). Cute, huh?


Hard to believe that such a little puffball will grow so much! Luckily, they are the most gentle cats I've ever encountered. I've had far more scratches from my domestic shorthairs and Turkish Angoras than I ever had from Oberon!
