UK Group Travis!

Any Travis fans out there?? They were FABULOUS here in L.A. at the Wiltern theater last Fri.

Wondering if anybody out there attended shows during this last U.S. tour?

THEY'RE MELLOW LOUD! And, gotta love that Scottish brogue, yeow...

They did two songs off the current CD that I KNOW all you DUers would love...the anti-Bush "Beautiful Occupation" (don't need an invitation to drop in upon a nation!)

And, "Peace The F*** Out!" HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The Man Who and Invisible Band are my favorites.

My friend works at the recording studio they use here in LA and says they are all really, REALLY nice.

Those songs sound great live and they really ROCK even the mellow ones...the guitarist jumps off the amps on the instrument part of "Writing To Reach You!" Strobe light and all, lol, they are way more Rock Band than I would have thought.

Fran did an encore of "Flowers In The Window" with ABSOLUTELY NO P.A.!! This was amazing as there were 1000s of screaming fans in a large venue and they had to be REALLY QUIET! Then they did Peace The Fuck Out and ended the encore with "Why Does It Always Rain On Me" which was maybe my favorite of the night.

We sat by Ben Stiller -- unescorted and looking rather glum IMO!
