The wine glass itself is filled with wine, but it's amusing how "white" wine happens to be scotch yellow in color. :D

It was actually a soft teal that didn't bleach at all, but I played with the background lighting in Photoshop and ramped it up. Yeah, it does distract, doesn't it?

beautiful colors and the reflection through the wine glass on the table is very nice...
I hope you can fix the lighting with out losing either of these....

It's a kinda nice picture, but it's all those little details that cause trouble... Details even some pros miss when setting up, although they're pros, so they shouldn't.

The bowl shouldn't be touching the glass unless there's a good reason for it to touch. This kind of touching doesn't unify the image, it stabs it.

If this is a product shoot, the bottle label should be more prominent.

The "smoke" coming out of the bottle is kind of neat, in a way. I'm trying to think of a way to use it.

The lamp in the back is washed out, a common problem with digital cameras, but even a problem with film that doesn't have much latitude. The trick would be to use a very low-wattage bulb and get the actual backlighting from spots positioned out of the picture.

Front fill lighting is needed, 'cause you don't want that shadow in front of the bottle. Shadows are planned, not randomly appearing. And you don't want wrinkles in the tablecloth unless you really want them there.

The lineup of the glasses is a good idea, but there has to be a point to the lineup. If they are to be arranged evenly, they have to be very even, if randomly, then very randomly. Right now, they just look a little sloppy.

The focus limitations of digital cameras have to exploited, not simply accepted. To get the whole line in focus, a view camera with a rear swing would normally be used. But, since hardly anyone has one of those any more, use the fuzzies to your advantage. I would do something like a wide angle-lens to exaggerate the distance and throw the background even more out of focus to make it look like the glasses were marching toward us. Maybe have even more of them in a curve.

And the background is a bit busy-- there's still too much there taking attention away fomr the foreground.

Particularly the need for better front lighting (I'll get the kit some day as using the flash would only give awful results), turn the back light off, not fiddle with Photoshop for the brightness, and better align the glasses... I could have used a ruler... :)
