I thought it would be cool to see who people look to for examples of morality in action to imitate or moral guidance.

7. Two of mine

Joseph Cardinal Bernardin. A forceful voice for respecting the seamless garment of life, who showed what Christianity is all about through his strength, dignity, and forgiving nature.

Harry Truman. Tough as nails, a man whose family values would shame the demagogues of the Far Right, a guy who undertood perserverance. My favorite president.

13. Jimmy Carter and Keith Olbermann.
:) I have always thought that Jimmy Carter was/is a man of deep integrity and practices what he preaches. He was governor in GA when I was growing up there, and I liked him from day one. Keith Olbermann is the only journalist who will stand up to Bushco and speak his mind. :bounce: :toast: He does it with grace and intelligence, and his assessments are dead on.
