Locking Screw Threads

Slotted Nut
A slot is machined into a nut and the nut is deformed to compress the slot as shown below.
When the nut is tightened onto the male thread it forces the nut back to its original geometry.
The thread system is locked by the built in friction.

The present invention relates to a screw lock, wherein a core is provided in
the interior of the body, a key hole formed to be a fork shape is provided in
the center of the core in axle direction, and the screw holes have some pins r
espectively; a front end of the key corresponding to the key hole and the pins is
designed to be a fork-like screw shank with many teeth.
When the key is screwed into the key hole of the core,
each of the teeth may raise a pin to the unlock position.
