Funny story:
We provide housing for the Nashua-area Dean campaign coordinator.
For some reason, CNN wanted to interview our guest, so the CNN camera crew was walking up to our house one morning to do the interview just as we were leaving for vacation in the family bumper stickermobile.
Among a few other stickers on the back of our red Caravan (license plate: "SOCLST") is a "BUSH/Cheated" bumper sticker. You know, looks like a normal "BUSH/Cheney" bumper sticker but says something a wee bit different.
Well, the CNN camera crew saw our bumper sticer, decided that we were Bush supporters and that they were walking up to the wrong house, and proceeded to walk over to the neighbors' house. Our archly-Republican neighbors' house.
We continued to drive away, but as we were leaving and the camera crew was walking up to our Republican neighbor's house, my wife was envisioning our neighbors' reaction to a camera crew showing up at their door and she was singing the "COPS!" theme. You know, "Bad boys, bad boys, what'cha gonna do when they come for you?"
The moral of the story is "Be sure to read those bumper stickers carefully, (bad) boys and girls!"
BTW, CNN did eventually find their way back to our house and the interview was taped, but as far as I know, the story still hasn't aired yet; CNN promised our guest a copy of the tape when it does.
