I have a Plymouth Voyager and it's broken twice already! Aren't they supposed to last the life of the vehicle? Cost me $300 to repair each time, and Chrysler won't pay a dime. I'm so pissed.

1. Call a locksmith. They can take care of if for you. |
|
I have had to have mine worked on twice in the last few years. It has to do with the aluminum pins they use in their tumblers. They are pretty crappy.
A locksmith is usually cheaper than that. It cost me around $125 the last time it happened to me.

I've heard that can result in a bent tumbler. I only have 3 keys and two remotes on my keychain.

5. My son's Focus has one. |
|
And Ford won't fix it. Well, they WILL, for about $400. The Foci were bad about that.

6. Chrysler sent out a service bulletin |
|
So they knew there was a problem They just didn't want to spend the money on a recall. So that's the last Chrysler I'll ever own.
