PRIMATE1- I'm calling you out! I'm dreading my hair.

You being the one with the kickass dreads, I figured I would come to you. I have about 8 done so far (and it only took me an hour and twenty minutes :eyes:), but I'm noticing a pretty amusing thing. They are locked remarkably well, but they are standing straight up. This is no small feat, since my hair is 9-10" long and the dreads are about 5-6". I'm curious if they'll lie down once they're worn a bit and I get some wax in them, or shall this continue to be a problem (it looks badass, but the school will be hesitant enough about dreads, having them stand straight up won't be working for them).

2. They will start to go down with a little wax, but they'll still stick off a little...

I waited a little before taking my first shower (like a week or so) but that made them go down really well, so maybe try that.
