Had an interesting offer the other day...

I was contacted by a DJ from a radio station who's looking for authors to interview for their two hour "paranormal" radio show. They asked me to send one of my novels for review and, depending on how it shakes out, I could end up on the radio in a couple of months.

So I packed up one of my novels and sent it out to Ohio today. It was one of my older books--I really wish my newest had already gone to print, but that's not for another few months. It's the most "paranormal" of them all so far.

I sent them "Of Man and Monster." It came in a close second, since it's about one of the first vampires in my universe, and the very first werewolf.

I think it's a great opportunity for more exposure, and I hope they pick me as one of their interviews. If not, that's okay too, I suppose. It was cool just to be in the running. There are a LOT of paranormal authors out there. At least my stuff has the benefit of being relatively unique.

I hope you get the radio interview. The exposure will sell lots of books for you.

I know someone who is a children's author. He benefited enormously from a recommendation and an interview on a major radio station. The interviewer liked his book, and told people to buy it for their children for Christmas.
Sales took off.

I thought the book was only average, and a bit didactic. But that is just one person's opinion. Anyway, I like the guy, and he is a good liberal. He writes an opinion column for an area newspaper. His political writing for adults is very well done, much better than his children's books. And I am not saying that just because I agree with him.

I hope the exposure happens for you.
