I had no problem with everything else.

But THAT one - with the Christina Aguilera lookalike giving me that Christian Come Hither position - that did it.

1. My dear Taverner...
Good for you!

I can never understand why people would allow themselves to be subjected to those awful things...

I was really upset when we first were subjected to them...

And the minute Skinner made it possible to turn them off, I did!

Enjoy your freedom!

Donors have that option, YES!

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's under "options."

Go for it!

Hit options, and then "Edit your preferences..."

8. That's why I love Firefox...
...I never even see 95% of that stuff. Every once in a while a site will use a new ad source and fly under my radar, but that's only for as long as it takes for me to unravel its URL and blacklist it.

I use IE "front ends" such as Maxthon and Avant now and then, which come with their own ad blockers, but Firefox is the king.

9. (sigh...) Opera's got Firefox beat on that too, without plugins...
or front ends. I can control cookies, popups, ads, and whatever either globally or for a particualr site. Most stuff, anyway, but things move too fast to get it all perfectly.

I keep up with the latest Firefox releases because it's good for some things, but it fascinates me how newbies to alternative browsers rave about Firefox features that were cribbed from Opera.

12. Because a big part of my business is Web Design...
...I use Opera to test the sites that I build. But I've got to be honest...before Opera was free to all comers, I was a long-time paying customer of the "no ad" version, and I could never make it "my" browser.

A MAJOR beef...really, really MAJOR...that I have with Opera is that they don't integrate RoboForm. YES, they have the "Magic Wand" for passwords, but having RoboForm functionality in Opera MIGHT make me consider switching.

13. OK, I'm humbled. There's a form-filling gizmo in...
the latest versions, but I doubt it's as useful a RoboForm.

Been using Opera since 3x (paid for it at least once) and Mozilla/Firefox since beta days. Just find it grating whenver I see the Firefox bandwagon and Opera's rarely mentioned. I don't doubt a lot of people would find it preferable if they knew about it.

14. And please realize I'm not a "Firefox Groupie"...
...I just have things I need to get done and Firefox gets them done for me, quickly. I've got to believe the Opera development team has received feedback on RoboForm, so the ball is in their court.
