56. actually, I only live a couple hours away but don't drive down there much

because it would be Tijuana for me (I'm from L.A.) and that's not the greatest place on earth for single women to go without men - I normally wouldn't say that since I'm a headstrong old broad, but it's true that women alone or in packs are a target. I may be headstrong but I'm not stupid.

I'll be on a cruise in April so we'll hit a couple spots there on our way from Ft. Lauderdale to San Francisco - Acapulco, Mazatlan (yeah Sr. Frogs!) and Cabo.

A friend of mine is the 2nd captain and last cruise I got to go on the bridge while we were in the canal.. Amazing what they can do with those ships. There was about a foot to spare on all sides and they never hit the wall of the canal. I've got some amazing pics of the distance.

The Captains obviously weren't drinking tequila that day - ha
