My head hurts and feels like it's the size of this building. My nose is stuffed up and I think the post-nasal drip is kicking in.

I'll need to drive home. Can't I just be home? Why do I have to drive there?

Can someone else please make dinner? Do the dishes? Grocery shopping? Pick up the cat's medicine?

Worry about the bills? Heating costs and gasoline bills? Whether or not there will be presents under the tree?
