The Good News Thread
Hello. I thought it might be enriching to make a good news thread.

My good news of the week:

- Kicked ass on the GRE after months of studying
- Had friends over on Thursday evening for the first time in a month
- Mr. Writer showed me his studliness
- Received a rejection letter for a manuscript with a HANDWRITTEN note on it
- Discovered how far I can go now that I have support in my life
- Finally, after 15 years, uncovered the mystery of the 30-60-90 triangle and the 45-45-90 triangle - those little things that evaded me when I was too distracted to study properly in middle and high school
- Felt JOY this week!

You?

7. My dear Writer!
Now your week sounds wonderful!

Biggo congrats, sweetie!

My week has been pretty good too...

I finished my poetry final exam ahead of schedule!

I have felt joy too!

I'm getting very positive feedback on my poetry, both here and in my class!

I was able to figure out (all by myself, too) how to edit a pic on my computer!

It's been a good week, and next week should be even better...

8. Kicking for the evening crowd....
It wasn't a bad week, in spite of the weather. We had a 2-hour delay on Thurs. Yippee! Best day of the week.

And my family and friends all remembered my birthday, although I was trying to "forget" it. ;)

Best of all, I finished my Christmas shopping! Yeehaw!

Congrats on doing so well on the GRE! :applause:

13. An ex-boyfriend of mine (who remains a good friend) once told me
that "some days, you just have to remember that you woke up on the right side of the grass, and be thankful for that." Good words of advice, I think. :hi:

I have survived cancer for over 20 years.
I have a great relationship with my children.
I have a warm home.
My husband loves me.
I have been sober for over 23 years.
I am finally starting to get over my bronchitis.
I did not have to go anywhere today.
There are "I Love Lucy" reruns on and I am enjoying watching them with my daughter, who is seeing them for the first time (she is 6).
