Hey there,

2nd generation Calgarian here. I hate living in Conservative country. (I love Calgary, I just hate the Conservatives)

I guess I'm pretty new considering it is my 4th post. I have used this forum for a ton of good ammo on a few other boards I post on though.

I've been lurking for a long time but always felt the comments were so good I did not know if I could keep up. There are a hell of a lot of intelligent people around here.

I like Calgary, too, I live down near Spruce Meadows (but not too near). I'm not fond of the politics here either, but I find it odd that Calgary keeps on voting in Liberals as mayor.

9. I'm moving to Canada in April

My husband has a work permit for a year, which can be renewed pretty easily. We will apply for permanent residence once I get there.

We'll be living in Toronto.

And we still get to vote in US elections.
