One of the two largest volcanos in Mexico, visible from Mexico City.

Popoca = smoking, Tepetl = mountain.

The smoking mountain.

To get to the lake, you pass through the Valley of a Thousand Falls.

This mountain is formed very differently from Devil's Tower, and is a classic geomorphology example of a very low angle thrust fault.
