The "Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo" was a spin-off series from "BJ and the Bear" This series ran for two seasons and was cancelled the same season as BJ and the Bear. BJ's biggest enemy was Sheriff Lobo. The two had tangled wits during the first episode of BJ and the Bear known as "The Foundlings" a two hour episode that started the "BJ and the Bear" series. The first episode BJ and Sheriff Lobo became quick enemies as BJ was helping girls escape from slavery which was Sheriff Lobo's operation. Of course Lobo got out of that one and came back with a vengance for BJ McKay.
