Newsflash: New Yorkers are just as stupid, racist, etc, as everyone else

I have seen this attitude in the past week or so here that New Yorkers (not the whole state, just the five boroughs. Well, actually, let's face it, when you people say, "New York," you mean Manhattan. But that's a whole other rant) couldn't possibly be so dumb as to label ham kosher/be racist/be ignorant of the diversity of the world.

Here's a tidbit. Plenty are. You gotta get your ass out of Rome sometimes, and not nearly enough of them do.

There are plenty of bigots here of all kinds, and many of them are just as obvious here as people anyplace else. :(
