Yep. Finished grade nine. Asked to leave and never return during grade 10. :hi:

1. I used to be one.
I left in 11th grade. My Dad was killed in 1995, and then Mom had a heart attack in 1997 (my 11th grade year). She was a total invalid for almost a year afterward, so I had no choice but to drop out of school and start working full-time in a local factory to support her and my two younger siblings.

I finally went back and got my GED this past May (and scored one of the highest scores in the entire state, earning me an award from the Governer!). I'm just finishing my first semester as a full-time college freshman at West Virginia University, and am planning to major in Political Science. :hi:

2. High school dropout here
Halfway through my senior year. Choice between working and paying the rent or hitchhiking to school and having no place to live. Didn't have time for my homework anyway.

5. Hiya!
Dropped out halfway through my senior year. Went to drop-out school for a month the following year and got my diploma from my regular HS with my advanced studies certificate (I needed 1/4 gym credit and a half a math credit to graduate senior year, was taking 6 electives, they wouldn't let me take a half day so I said fuck you, I'm going to work).
