US tour coming right up:
http://www.hughcornwell.com/live.htmland it looks like his current band is Robert Williams (ex-Beefheart, the guy who did the "Nosferatu" album with Hugh, and, more infamously, the whiner who unsuccessfully sued John Lydon on Judge Judy) on drums (great drummer), and Caz Campbell (haven't a clue about her CV) on bass.
The Youtubes from the European tour make the show look a lot better than the last time I saw the Stranglers (1984, DC?).
Still, that's a Wednesday night, and I doubt it would come close to the 1982 Stranglers show I saw at the Paramount in Seattle. Hate the Stranglers without Hugh, so forget them altogether.
It's tempting. I guess I have to ask myself what I think I would get from the experience, and if I should just save my money to go see Hell's Belles at Dante's again.
