Why the fuck would anyone do that to a two year old??? I just can't fucking comprehend. I've been pissed at my kids before, so much that I saw red. I left the room. Even if I were pushed to the edge, I can't imagine even spanking my kids, let alone doing this.

I'm against the DP, and still am, but it would be hard for me to work up any pity for these folks.

that suggested that the mom's boyfriend expected the child to say "yes, sir" and "no, sir", and became enraged when she didn't. Take with the requisite barrel of salt.

As far as the DP is concerned I agree with you - there are more civilized ways for society to treat these people. As an individual, however, I wouldn't bat an eye if something medieval happened to them...
