Poll question: Songs on my most recent mix CD. Pick your favorite or flame me mercilessly. It's all good!

I have ten choices for this poll and twelve songs on the CD, so I'm posting the first 9 songs in the order in which they appear.

1. It's honestly impossible to say since I haven't heard a lot of those songs
The beauty of a mix CD is the transitions, both aurally and otherwise.

The one of mine that I liked the most was one that my MP3 randomizer did:

Ben Folds' Not The Same followed by the 13th Floor Elevators Nobody To Love.

It sounds great and there's the thing about the songs. The first one is about someone whose whole life was changed by one bad acid trip. The second song was by Roky Erikson, who, well, you know the story.

4. "Nero Burning Rom" creates some pretty awesome transitions.
It's my burning software of choice, and you can cross-fade between tracks. What I end up with is 70+ minutes of the sweetest sounding radio station on the planet (based, of course, on my own personal tastes).

And yes, I know all about Roky...he's an unsung hero in the Syd Barrett vein of rock & roll, IMHO.

6. Not familiar with a few of the tunes, but overall I like that list
quite a bit. I've been digging out the old 80s hair and metal stuff lately, particularly Hanoi Rocks. Accept were a very underrated band- lots of great metal lps.

8. I jeer at your faux metal.
Autograph and Accept, indeed! But the rest of the selections are terrific.

10. Those choices were just for fun...
...I clearly remember the videos for each of those songs. Whenever I make a mix CD, I throw on at least a few "guilty pleasures"-slash-"questionable choices."

Those were the two from that category that made it onto this CD.

I don't even think I remember how to operate a CD player anymore.
