Poll question: Wheat Thins v. Triscuits
Which cracker-type snack is better? Or are you one of those people who likes both--or likes neither?

I personally would eat either but VASTLY prefer Wheat Thins. They have a salty/something undertaste that really clinches it for me.

1. My dear WIMR!
Oh, please....Triscuits!

They have a better flavor, much better texture...

And, the capper for me at least...

When I was pregnant with my first daughter, many years ago...

And I had morning sickness, my husband would bring me some to eat while I was still in bed!

They really helped get me over that morning sickness thing!

I love these guys with a bit of monterey jack or sharp cheddar cheese!

Yum! :9

3. Haha, I eat Wheat Thins with hunks of cheddar and while drinking OJ.
One of my fav. snacks. I'm not a fan of the Triscuit texture, actually--I find it very awkward.

:D

:hi:

5. TRISCUITS!!!!!!!!!! You can eat them in tiny little bites, horizontally speaking.
They are far more satisfying in texture and higher in roughage quotient. I mean, Wheat Thins are made of wheat,
and are thin, so a person (me) tends to eat a lot more of them than is perhaps necessary. However, eating Triscuits is more of a job.
They get stuck in your teeth, and then you have to go get the dental floss and floss the Triscuit-residue away, and by that time you forget
that you had the crackers out and start cleaning the room you're in, and then the phone rings and distracts you from the snack you had
planned on having, back in the kitchen, and you agree to meet the person on the phone in 15 minutes for a drink, which leaves you barely
enough time to brush your teeth, comb your hair and put on a pair of earrings, so that you look presentable - nothing fancy, just a casual meeting
for a weak libation but, still, you don't want to go looking all awry, lest the person you're meeting think that you don't think highly enough of them
to get dolled up, so you do what's needed and grab your coat and purse on the way to the front door and don't even THINK of the Triscuits again until
you come home, happily exhausted from laughing and socializing on an, albeit, limited basis, at which point you close the box tidily and put the
Triscuits away.

So - yeah. Triscuits.

11. OK, now wait just one minute, here. We need some defining of terms. Are we talking
about the original flavor of Wheat Thins and Triscuits, or are we talkin' adulterated,
rosemary-flavored, pizza-like tasting, artificially flavored crackers??

Being a Triscuit purist myself, I need to know what the parameters are.

Something tells me the same people who are touting the wonders of other-worldly flavors
of crackers are the same people who enjoy flavored coffees - pumpkin spice, hazelnut,
chicken vanilla, ...
