What part of the country are you in? What store? Anyone planning to scalp it on Ebay?

I won it in a contest. I love it! The only video game format I've ever really gotten into.

2. These things appeared over a year ago. |

Is there some good reason why there should be a seasonal shortage now?

4. Don't know that there's a GOOD reason... |
|
but there's definitely a seasonal shortage. We've been trying to find one and there just aren't any. You can find them online if you're desperate, but they're STARTING at close to 600.00 if you do it that way.
My boys don't need one that badly.

5. It's not so much a seasonal shortage... |
|
...as a general shortage. I haven't seen one on the shelves of any of my local electronics stores. Period. Nintendo has even drastically scaled back its Christmas advertising campaign, saying it doesn't want to create "unmeetable demand." Basically, the things are flying out of the factory and straight into users hands. The waiting list is still pretty long.
