Share your musical taste! I Want my MTV!! Post a music video from youtube!
Preferably one from the era when MTV actually aired videos, but they're ALL good.

That evil youtube made me buy an actual music video DVD. How dare that site make people buy the higher quality product when we can have it for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez?

Sweeeeeet, thanks!
:yourock:

That Roland keyboard gets around as well (Devo, the B-52s, REM, and many others used that brand) - pity I couldn't discern the model, but Roland was rather *the* name...

:yourock:

(Have you ever listened to "Shining Star" and "Suicidal Blonde"?)
Those two I just linked are probably not the official videos, but they're the right songs. :D

6. Confession: I know every INXS ever made by heart.
Oh yes. :hi:

My friend once said that Suicide Blonde should be my theme song, but I much prefer Elegantly Wasted.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWI9fuwj5eM

Elegantly Wasted is off the last album they made before Michel died.

I know I'm the only DUer who likes 'em, but I make up for it with how much I LUV 'em! The drummer is singing and the singer is playing the drums... good times!

10. I used to love Hanoi Rocks
Probably more for the venues they played back then in LA. Seven Seas.. China Club....heavy snowfall was the forecast back then. I never knew they weren't an LA band, they were here so much.

Take your children and
yourself and hide out in
the cellar.
By now the fighting will
be close at hand.
Don't believe the church and state
and everything they tell you.
Believe in me
I'm with the high command.

Can you hear me
can you hear me running?
Can you heal me running
can you hear me calling you?
Can you heal me
can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running
can you hear me calling you?

There's a gun and amnunition
just inside the doorway;
Use it only in emergency.
Better you should pray to God
the father and the spirit.
Will guide you and protect
you from up here.
Can you hear me
can you hear me running? . . .

Show allegiance to the flag
whatever flag they offer.
Never hint at what you really feel.
Teach the children quietly
for some day sons and
daughters.
Will rise up and fight
where we stood still.

Can you hear me
can you hear me running? . . .

Can you hear me
can you hear me running?
Can you heal me running
can you hear me calling you?
Can you hear me running
can you hear me calling you?
Can you hear me
hear me calling you?
Can you hear me running
hear me running
babe!
Can you hear me running
hear me running!
Calling you
calling you!

"taking it back" for someone my age is:

STEAL MY SUNSHINE - LEN
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwtTOxouD5Q
I use to blast this song in my room all the time in 5th grade.

BABY ONE MORE TIME - BRITNEY SPEARS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bsniYwSaWg
Yes I was a teenybopper. I adored her in 5th grade. Oh what happened Britney.

DESTINY'S CHILD - BILLS BILLS BILLS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgiiRuEWoYY
the original destiny's child

MY BOO - GHOSTOWN DJ'S
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZdMFB4BhrQ
LOVE THIS SONG

JUMPER - THIRD EYE BLIND
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwfAKFg-0-Y
Really good song. It's a song about someone about to commit suicide and the singer is talking his friend out of it. The lyrics are so true. Sometimes it's just time to let the past be the past. Anna Nicole Smith is in the video toward the end @ 3:40.

BREAKDOWN - MARIAH CAREY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jGmeP6sMqI
love the song and video.
