7. Can't have those around the house, the dog adores them -

Every time my folks used to send us one of those holiday containers of them (the 10 - 12 piece containers), no matter where we put it as soon as we went to bed, the dog would drag it down, smash it open, and there's be a bunch of little foil wrappers around the living room when we got up in the morning. Oh, and a very guilty dog hiding behind a chair or under the table with chocolate and nut bits around her muzzle. With a case of the runs a half a day or so later that lasts about 3 days...

We thought we hid it up in a kitchen cabinet one year - she jumped on the counter, nosed open the cabinet, dropped it on the floor and shattered the plastic container all over the kitchen floor. Not only did she make the foil mess, but it was a pain walking in the kitchen in bare feet for a few days.
My folks stopped sending us Ferrer Roche after that - it was obvious that their gift was not making it to those it was intended, and they didn't want to be responsible for poisoning Shari.

I used to go to Antwerp a lot and bought boxes of them. Sometimes I had enough left over to take some home to the Wife and Kiddies.
