Michigan fans, your attention please.
Congrats on getting Rodriguez for your football team--or condolences, as the case may be. If your alumni aren't willing to cough up more and more millions every season, eventually he'll dump your team right before a bowl game and look for greener ($$$$$) pastures.

Let's go Mountaineers.
Fuck Rich Rodriguez.

Signed,

One very bitter, disappointed, and angry WVU student

1. Yeah, I was kinda surprised that he went.
Meeeeeeeeeshigan must've given him one helluva contract. I like West Virginia and knew he had 'em going really well. I hope you guys get a great replacement.

2. I wouldn't care so much if he'd waited until after the bowl game was over.
Going to the Fiesta bowl with a team full of downhearted players who feel betrayed and abandoned by the guy on the sidelines pretty much guarantees a shitty game. If any Sooners fans here are going to Arizona for the bowl game, do me a favor and flip Rodriguez the bird for me a couple of times. He ruined the bowl game for my team *and* yours. :grr:

Or maybe he'll ditch before the bowl game and we'll have the new coach in place when we get to Arizona. A girl can hope.

Heard that on the news tonight.

4. Your bowl game or mine?
If you mean that he isn't going to coach our bowl game, then good. Best news I've heard so far tonight. Let him go right now, and good riddance to him.

7. Either one
He isn't going to coach in W. Virginia's bowl game or Michigan's.

6. This Spartan says welcome, 'Rich'
U-M's basketball team, and now its football team, are in the hands of West Virginia coaches. I think that is very weird.

As someone who was already 18 when Bo just started, I know something about Michigan fans. Even those few who actually attended school there, or ever visited the campus. And clearly, any criticism of the new coach in the first two weeks after next season begins is the fault of the refs. After that, he just stinks.

Like I said, it's very weird at Michigan, whose years and years of ego have yielded only schizophrenia.

I will let Coach Izzo and Coach Dantonio speak further in the coming year on my behalf.

Good luck, Rich.

8. I know a little bit about them too
Having been one since birth and a third-generation Michigan alum (who grew up just outside East Lansing).

Enjoy Dantonio. He's already shown his mettle re: the in-state battle.

And, though Izzo can coach and recruit, he's going to collapse of apoplexy if he doesn't relax a little. Settle down, Tom. Play your accordian a little bit more.

Will be interesting to see how Rich Rodriguez does here. I think he'll be just fine.
