I find Colbert to be sort of boring and just a little too unfunny. Well, there, I said it.

Actually, I've only seen him a couple of times because I do not have a TV. But I thought he was pretty funny the few times that I saw him.

the right-wingnut routine is funny, but it has become tedious, I'll watch him occassionally and briefly during a round of channel surfing.

Mr. Gray does not like Colbert as much as I do. But he won't read Harry Potter, either, so what does that tell you?

And while Colbert's performance at that Washington Press dinner was phenomenal, I think his show is getting tired.
Brave of you to go there!

The whole running for president thing was just stupid.
A fw of his gags are funny, but they get lost in the whole "Me, Me, Me" thing.
just my opinion

It's a good satire for a couple of shows, but it's hard to keep it going for a whole season, much less several seasons.

He has props . . . his "guests" are only there as props for his shtick. Though Jane Fonda (I don't have the link, so don't ask:)) avoided that treatment pretty well.

I thought his sketches on TDS were the perfect forum--and just long enough--for his kind of humor. An entire show? Not so much. (And I miss how he and Jon used to crack each other up.)

The one where Colbert was reporting on the Prince Charles sex scandal "from England" where he deep-throats a banana - they both lose it. Kills me every time. :D

The giggle twins remind me of when Johnny Carson used to lose it, or even better, Harvey Korman and Tim Conway on the old Carol Burnett Show. (Erm, is my age showing?)

As his fake political pundit personality goes, it depends. Sometimes he is very funny. Other times it gets a bit annoying.
