I just met Harris Wofford!

Special Asssistant to President Kennedy, assistant director of the Peace Corps (and one of its founders), US Senator, and CEO of the Corporation for National Service under President Clinton.

Sen. Wofford was in town to campaign for Barack Obama, touting his national service plan.

It was a real honor to meet someone who has played such a major role in advancing the "ask what you can do for your country" ethos over these four decades. He's a true patriot!
