Baby Steps! (more Republicans are mad as hell)
I shouldn't do this, but I'm going to post some sentiments from another message board that I've been involved with for a number of years. The first is from my very first internet friend and a Republican, replying to a Booshie:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm still a Republican, too. However, I'm not a Bush Republican. <later>... I'm going with Kerry. God, I love that woman!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

This one is from a real diehard Republican from Texas. He's former military, and from a mlitary family. He & I have had legendary wars over the past five years. He's replying to the same Booshie as the previous poster: (foul language alert!)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since you seem so intent at bashing people you were supposedly friends with. Let me take this opportunity to call you a chickenshit. I supported you when people jumped your ass. Now your true colors are showing. You have a habit of posting some inflammatory shit and then disappearing ,for weeks on end, letting somebody else take the fall, fucking pussy.

<more>

Lord knows i dont agree with them (the Dems), but they sure as shit garner a lot more respect than somebody like you deserves.
Im a Republican, dickhead. Have been for a long time. However, this admin is a successful failure. The only people that dont see the damage he's doing is idiots like you.
He has totally destroyed Americas credibility. He has stretched our armed forces so thin that if war breaks out in a REAL hotspot(korea) we would be over run very quickly.

His secretaries are war mongering idiots. of course they werent real soldiers, but what does that matter. I sometimes wonder what all these bush backers will say when their son comes home in a flag draped coffin. Would you sacrifice one of your kids for Bush? Thats what i thought....

---------------------------------------------------------------------

It's over for Boosh. I'm completely convinced. The last quote I posted was from a formerly rabid supporter of this administration. Even so, I still look forward to cracking a few beers with the guy if I ever get my ass down to Houston. He & I have battled and laughed more times than I can remember. His only reservation in November is this: He'll vote for Clark or Edwards, but will stay home for anyone else. Fine with me.

Sorry about the long post, but this has been a day where I've see an extra Dem vote in Ohio, New York, and possibly Texas. I'm so jazzed I can barely think straight.

1. Imas this morning
mentioned his wife is a staunch Republican but she's voting for Kerry. I'm hearing and reading this over and over lately.

People are people before they are a Party. They have kids and responsibilities, they see bush for what he is and what values he stands for.
.
Lately we're seeing record numbers of people coming out to vote.....but I think there is another whole segment of society (Republicans) out there ready to quietly rebel against bush at the polls.

It won't even be close this Novemeber.

Has anyone heard anyone say they voted Dem in the last election but are switching to Bush? I sure haven't.

Thanks for sharing.
