The factory workers who have been discovered to be of Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi
nationalities were forced to work 14 to 15 hours a day, totaling 98 to 105 hours
within the factory itself. And workers are also only given one day off for every
three or four full months of work.

It has also been exposed that none of the foreign workers in Jordan have been provided
any legal documentation to support their residency within the Middle Eastern country.
This forces the workers to stay within the industrial park to avoid being caught by
the authorities for lack of papers.

Prior to entering the country, the workers were required to pay $1,500-$3,000 to be able
to work in the factory for a three-year contract.

The report was released by the National Labor Committee.
