How do I fix the link in my sig?

I know it's been explained before, but I sure as heck can't find it... How do I change my sig line so the link shows up as something like "complete text" rather than just typing out the actual address?

I wish that all of the old "HELP FOR HTML MORANS (or is it maroons)" threads were all pinned someplace where they'd be easy to find! Of course, then we'd be inundated with scrolling, bouncing and flashing sigs, I suppose, as people continue to play...

1. Do this:

Replace every < or > symbol in the example with the square brackets symbol:


<a href="put your link here">write text here</a>

be sure to include the quotes

it should look like this

5. In all fairness

It DOES need a kick back to page one very now and then, so I can see how you might have missed it.. Be sure to browse the two earlier links too.. There are so many neat tips in those threads :)
