1. I said other....
I am feeling in that limp and tepid holiday mood! More seriously..I like xmas music well enough I suppose but don't have much of a preference and this year I have been feeling grinchy enough that I haven't listened to any...
But Merry Christmas to you, my wise-ass friend...
:hi:

2. here is the video....(Are there no rules on DU?)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zMhSjDqvRs

On every other message board I go on there are rules.

1. if you make a post about a hot male of female, the poster must supply photo proving hotness.
2. if a poster makes a post about music or TV, a video or link must be suppled

3. I'm thinking of our poor fellow DU'ers on dial-up
Such as myself, when I'm not at work.

Nothing irks me more than a Lounge thread with a subject line of "You've Got To See This" and just a link in the message-body.

7. I go by those rules too Bennyboy. I also think that you should list the title of any videos
that you post. That being said, I love the fact that David Bowie and Bing Crosby got together to sing this, for whatever reason. My favorite "modern" version of this song, however, is Bob Seger's. (ignore the light show)

11. That video starts out like a porno.
"He's not around, is he?"

"I don't believe so, no."

"Good..."

Starts undressing.

6. "Hello, Bing... Iggy and I were in the neighborhood to score...
and I thought I would drop by and wish you a Merry Christmas. Iggy? He said that he wanted to wait in the car"

12. lol-My sentiments exactly.
Plus, you can't beat the message in the Bowie part...

Peace on earth, can it be
Years from now, perhaps we'll see
See the day of glory
See the day, when men of good will
Live in peace, live in peace again

Peace on earth, can it be
Every child must be made aware
Every child must be made to care
Care enough for his fellow man
To give all the love that he can

I pray my wish will come true
For my child and your child too
He'll see the day of glory
See the day when men of good will
Live in peace, live in peace again

Peace on earth, can it be
Can it be
